ewimed GmbH is an expanding medical technology company in Medical Valley Hechingen that has specialized in the drainage of pleural effusion and ascites for over 30 years. As a developer, manufacturer and distributor of catheters and drainage accessories, ewimed offers a wide range of products for symptom relief in recurrent malignant and non-malignant pleural effusion and ascites.
With locations, sales and service units in Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Denmark, Norway, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and Romania, ewimed is one of the largest suppliers of drainage systems in Europe and is continuously working on the development of new innovations in this field. Today, ewimed GmbH has around 500 employees throughout Europe, over 100 of whom work at its headquarters in Hechingen.

Moving away from paper-heavy, manual processes and on to smart, digital workflows. This was the successful path taken by the entire ewimed team.
I am proud that we as a team have managed to get this highly relevant but also complex system up and running in this timeframe. It was a challenging task to set up all interfaces and requirements with the aim of significantly optimizing processes according to our needs.
